Bio: My name is Dan, but most of my friends call me Mateus (mah-t(ay)-us) for short because, well, there are too many people with the name Daniel. I am currently at this time of writing/typing a second semester sophomore. I am a Film Media Major at the University of Rhode Island. I plan on being a movie director, or at least trying. I’m located at Stoughton, MA and Providence, RI. I’m in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. I did the 48 Hour Film Festival in Providence. Bio: Hi, my name is Jean and I am a student at Duke University. It was only last year that I jumped in the business of making documentary films and fell in love with it. My first documentary film, The Social Group, is about a group of teenagers with high functioning autism and their friendship. It has won some awards at Duke (Best Documentary in Student Film Screening, 3rd place in at Duke Arts Festival), but hasn’t been screened much elsewhere. For now, I am mostly interested in capturing and telling real human experiences, but am finding the task more challenging the more I try to delve in deeper (currently working on a feature film on the same group).
